In these cold, humid mornings, I dream of sitting on a terrace, bundled up with a cup of hot chocolate in one hand and my favorite book in the other. I can virtually taste and smell the hot, sweet drink.
In fact, my most favorite hot chocolate comes from a little chocolaterie that is situated in the heart of Geneva. It is a chocolate shop run by a Swiss Chocolate Master. It is a heaven for those who love handmade pralines, ganaches, chocolate bars and anything else that you can make of chocolate. The store is so tiny that you have to sit outside in the arcade. The iron chairs are cold and heavy and you are given warm covers to bundle up before the treat arrives. It is steaming and creamy and once you taste it, you are sold. I like to sit there, watch people pass by, and feel the peace and warmth in my veins.
Honestly, I can’t wait for winter to start…
