At first, I wanted to call this “Why You Should Not Listen To The Wolves,” but it felt too stiff. What I noticed lately, is that the more I become self-aware and listen to my intuition, the more I attract people who keep telling me how to grow, build a business, and become successful.
I decided to make a #haulternative video to support Fashion Revolution Week (22nd-28th April 2019). What is #haulternative? It’s a way of refreshing your wardrobe without buying new clothes.
What is Fashion Revolution? The aim of the movement is to force fashion brands and the whole industry to be more responsible and ethical, and to educate the shoppers about the working conditions of those who are making their clothes.
When we were looking for accommodation, we wanted a hotel that would be family-oriented, have a pool (since Chloe-Sofia loves water), center location and a view of the mountains. Hotel Belvedere Grindelwald ticked all the boxes and surprised us in other areas such as hospitality, client-orientation, spa, and cuisine.
Can we live a plastic-free life? That is the question that many of us ask today. After meeting and interviewing several ladies who advocate for low plastic or plastic-free life, I have to say that it’s possible.
In this interview, you will get to know Alexis McGivern, who has been living plastic-free since 2013. She runs No Plastic Please blog (Instagram:
@noplasticplease1). I met her at a workshop organized by Lilly Milligan Gilbert, who is also presenting her ethical and socially-responsible brand in the video. She is a founder of Tallis (Instagram: @thetallis), a Geneva-based brand that makes luxury yet contemporary fur products, using responsibly sourced materials.
