I tried to make this look as ethical as possible. Both Back Label and Pachacuti are ethical brands that put sustainability as their priority. I did not know about Pachacuti until yesterday when I chose one of their hats to accessories this black jumpsuit. Some of their Panama hats are rollable-  you can roll them and pack them safely in your luggage.

I know Back Label for some time now. I love their soft, lightweight fabrics that you can hardly feel on your skin. Besides the usual materials such as organic cotton, they use fabrics from milk protein, seaweed minerals or eucalyptus. It is a luxury ethical brand that is not cheap. I know that If I decide to get something from their collection, I will have to save for it. I make a conscious choice to wait and invest in a piece of superior quality. And yes, I agree that oftentimes, this decision translates into exercising a lot of patience and self-control. Because, let’s face it, it is much easier to go to a high-street store and buy something similar that will be cheaper. But I really want to make my best and think twice before I spend money on something too cheap to be true.

If you are interested in getting to know more about fast versus ethical fashion, I recommend watching The True Cost. It is an amazing documentary that shows the social and human cost of fast fashion.
