To achieve the right consistency of your green smoothie, you need to have the right blender. Last year I got myself a Nutribullet. I loved it until it broke down. Correction, I liked the smoothies but didn’t fancy that you had to turn the container upside down to fix it in the blender.
One day, the extractor blade remained stuck in the power base, and as I was trying to get it out, the cup unscrewed the smoothie spilled everywhere. I stopped using it and went back to using my old mixer.
A few weeks back, I got the opportunity to try The Super Q blender by Sage Appliances. It is a sturdy looking, heavy blender. It may not be a gadget you would travel with, but it has many more functions and potential than any other blender I tried before.
