Have you ever tried a couple’s quiz such as #boyfriend tag? I have to say it’s more fun than I expected. And the bonus – you get to know your partner better.
I have decided to focus on videos and creating the same content visually instead of writing a long blog post. I like writing but not every one has time to read and I myself prefer to listen to podcasts or watching videos while I on my way to work.
Video making takes more of my time but makes me happier. Increasingly, I find curated Instagram feeds unauthentic and I am tired of checking all the time if what I want to post is visually acceptable. When I make a video (such as this #boyfriend tag one) I cannot hide nor photoshop my body into the best version of myself. Not that I am doing that but you know what I mean…
It is also a new challenge. I need to reorganize myself, our family flow and how we do things. But every challenge is good and helps you to grow. I learned that when you stop doing new things and learning, you start dying. And starting with vlogs at the age of forty may seem ridiculous to some but I feel that at this time and age, we are given a lot of freedom to find ways to use online platforms for the greater good.
I am curious to see your reactions. I will post one video every week to see if it helps me foster new conversations, create new bonds and reach more people. It’s June, half of the year is soon behind us, and as Rachel Hollis said in one of her posts on Instagram (one of the inspiring people I follow): stop thinking about what you didn’t achieve. Focus on what you can do in the next six months. reevaluate. Create a new roadmap. Refocus. In six months you can change the WHOLE WORLD!
P.S: Next time, Alex and I will try to #Meet My Husband quiz since it may be even more fun than the #boyfriend tag.
