Costa Rica 2019 Diary – Puntarenas

Costa Rica Diary/puntarenas/currently wearing swiss blog

We spent our first week at the beach resort in Puntarenas region. We’ve visited Hotel and Club Punta Leona three times already and it is one of those places that seduce you by its location. In close vicinity, you’ll find the sea, tropical forest, animals and picturesque little houses where you’ll stay during your visit. It’s a four-star accommodation which offers everything you need. We always opt for full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) because we like the food.

If you stay in Punta Leona Hotel and Club, you have access to Playa Blanca  (White Beach). It’s a gorgeous beach which is never busy, the white sand is soft, the waves welcoming and water always warm. Simply heaven.

Building sand castles.

There are three large pools in Punta Leona Hotel and Club and one of them was redone from scratch last year and that’s where we spend most of our time. The water was warm, clean and it was always practically empty. This year we got swimming goggles for Chloe-Sofia so that her eyes don’t get red. Her swimsuit is made of a UPF 50+ material. I believe it’s important to choose swimsuits and sunhats that can protect your child against harsh sunlight (together with the right sunscreen).

You can find beautiful swimsuits for boys here. Click here for swimsuits for girls with UPF 50+.

Her favorite popular expression as of late. Especially, when she’s aware that someone is taking a photo of her.
Alex’s uncle who is eighty-two-years old. He looks great, doesn’t he?

My swimsuits are from an Australian brand Seafolly. I got them on sale because they’re a bit pricey for my taste but the quality is amazing. They will last long and the tops are holding everything in place.

Below are similar and more price-convenient bikini and one-piece swimsuits that I love too.

I don’t like to say that time passes fast when I am on holiday as it sounds a bit depressing. I’d rather focus on what I am experiencing at that moment instead of counting days till the time is up. Do you do the same?
