Brand identity, branding, storytelling…
Until I had a chat with Magda about developing a brand identity I didn’t understand those terms at all. I didn’t think I needed to see my blog as a brand – it was fluctuant and fun, dynamic but not clearly defined. A year ago I realized that I didn’t want to do write about fashion anymore. What started as a way to express me and have fun, became more of a comparison and competition with other bloggers. The whole scene, at least in Geneva, became tiring. And I feel like it isn’t for me anymore.
I want to find a way to make a positive impact. If I can inspire people to live a happier life through my interviews with people that I find inspiring, I would be happy. When I decided to switch and focus more on interviews, I realized that I needed to adjust my “brand” as well.
What is my brand identity now when I switched from blogging to sharing visual stories?
And that’s when I decided to talk to Magda, the co-founder of a marketing and communication agency Minthical. Why? Because she is an expert and I have asked for her advice many times before. When it comes to marketing, branding or building your presence online, she is the best.
In this video we’ll discuss:
How to develop your brand identity?
Why you should know your “why”?
How to build a website and use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to your advantage? And why is SEO so important?
Is Facebook dead? Should you create a Facebook group instead of a page? And what about Snapchat and Instagram?
