Sentence a Day – July Diary

CATEGORY: FASHION

currently wearing/ noleti/ gstaadcurrently wearing/ noletiWelcome to Sentence a Day, my July diary. I really like this idea to keep track of what I did every day. And in one sentence only which I can’t manage to achieve. One sentence is too short to describe a day. When I go back to beginning of the month, I am always amazed how much I managed to do. It is great to know as most of the times I feel like I don’t manage to do as much as I wanted.

P.S. In today’s article I skipped those days that I spent at work.

OUTFIT:

Mango dress (similar floral printed dress), Zara denim jacket (similar style), Noleti clutch, By Vanja Jocic hat, Gabor wedge sandals (alternative), Cerjo sunglasses and 88rdr watch (similar style).

JULY DIARY:

1 July, Saturday: Friends came over for dinner and Alex made an amazing Saltimbocca alla Romana.

2 July, Sunday: Relaxing day at home, we went for a walk, had a coffee and cake in neighboring village. We also had a great chat together(Alex and I). I like that we can discuss so much together. It is essential to be able to share things also intellectually when you are married.

6 July, Thursday: Alex was not well and had to see a doctor. I had to leave the office earlier to take Chloe-Sofia to her first end-of-the year party at her daycare. Here is her party makeup:Chloe-Sofia/ celebration in creche/ currently wearing

7 July, Friday: Alex was feeling worse; he had a fever and was in a lot of pain. He could not even get out of the bed. 🙁

8-9 July: Weekend at home. I asked Surekha to come over to take photos as Alex was not well. We took photos with Chloe-Sofia and my new DIY project- pompom heels.currently wearing/swiss national day

14 July, Friday: Trip to Lausanne with Chloe-Sofia. Blog-related meeting with a PR Agency that I work with. Chloe-Sofia was bothering people on the train and had so much fun. Luckily, people did not mind.

16 July, Sunday: Brunch in Hotel de La Paix with our friends from Lugano (Swiss-Italian part of Switzerland). They came to Geneva for the weekend and stayed at our place.

After the finals and sumptuous lunch, we drove back to the music festival. It was the last day and we wanted to see Manu Chao. But I did not feel well in the evening so we had to leave the festival before his show started. 🙁

28-30 July, Friday-Sunday: Chloe-Sofia is back to 100%. We took her to Prague so that she could spend the next two weeks at my parents’. She immediately fell in love with their garden, cats (who, on the other hand, are not very fond of children :-)) and their pool. We can see that she has much more fun than at home.
