Hi everyone,

How is your week going so far? Today is Swiss National Day. We are going to celebrate it by ourselves as Chloe-Sofia is at my parents’ for two weeks. It was hard leaving her in Prague but we had no choice. The daycare is closed for three weeks and we are both going to work. My mother-in-law has already taken care of her for 2 weeks and we felt that it would be good if Chloe-Sofia spends the rest of the time also with her Czech grandparents in Prague. And it looks like she is having a blast. She can play in the pool, pick strawberries and raspberries in my parent’s garden and try to catch their cats. We can see her every day via Skype which makes it all much easier.

We are going to celebrate Swiss National Day by having a traditional brunch at a farm. I have never done it and can’t wait to experience it. Our friends, who came with this idea, are celebrating their wedding aniversary today which makes today twice that special.  I wonder how you celebrate National Day of your country? Do you have some special habits?

P.S. These pompom heels are one of my latest DIY projects. I will share the tutorial very soon.

I love your DIY pom poms on the sandals! Fab outfit. It’s harder for the parents when the little ones are away but they have lots of fun and we always say it’s important for them to spend time with grandparents making precious memories. Thanks for linking up 🙂

Miri, this outfit is fabulous! And those shoes! And Chloe-Sofia! Can she be any cuter? Enjoy your kid-free time while you have it. I know when a get a few days without kids, it is so relaxing and amazing. But I always love getting them back at the end of it! It always seems so quiet when they are not here.
