I am sure you have heard so much about athleisure that you don’t need any tips. I did not like the term for a long time. I am still getting used to it. But I decided to dedicate today’s story to athleisure because it is the best style for holidays. At least in my case. I can hardly imagine wearing track pants or a hoodie to work as we have a dress code. On the other hand, now that I am on holidays, I can wear whatever I desire. And I have to say that yoga pants look stunning with heels.
I like this sweatshirt because it is soft and and has a slouchy fit. You can even wear it as an off-the-shoulder sweatshirt with skinny jeans and platform sandals. And as we talk about athleisure, I decided to style it over my bikini bottoms. It is practical and looks easy and relaxed when the weather cools down in the evening and you want to stay by the pool.
I received this bikini bottoms from a friend who went on holiday to Brazil. At first I did not even consider wearing them. They seemed too small for someone who just had a baby. Than I decided to give them a chance, took them to Costa Rica and wore them on Playa Blanca last week. Alex took photos of me when I was playing with Chloe-Sofia and to my surprise, I looked better than I expected. So I decided to wear them no matter how my butt looks or what people may say. Life is too short. Pura vida, as Costa Ricans would say. Enjoy life and don’t spoil it with little things!
P.S. I would like to share with you an interview that I did with Lindsey from Have Clothes Will Travel. Thank you, Lindsey, for featuring me!
