Originally I wanted to wear this embroidered dress on the beach as a cover-up. But than I received it, opened the box and fell in love. This dress is too stunning to be worn only on the beach. Just look at those balloon sleeves and cute double tassels! Oh, and don’t get me started about the traditional cross-stitch embroidery that adorns it from top to bottom.

If you come from Eastern Europe, you have already recognized vyshyvanka. That is how this traditional embroidered dress is called in Ukraine. And it is so famous that they even named a national holiday after it. Isn’t it cool?

It is made of light linen which, besides silk, is the best material for summer. It is natural, you don’t sweat in it as much as in synthetic materials and it lasts for ages. Don’t you think that it would be an amazing outfit for music festival? Just add a pair of black Hunter wellies, oversized sunglasses and don’t forget to braid your hair. Alex and I attend every year Paléo festival in Nyon. Last year we saw Muse, Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack and discovered Swiss electronic music group Vouipe. This year’s line-up is even more exciting: Jamiroquai, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Manu Chao just to name a few. My favorite artist is definitely Jamiroquai. As a teenager I was living in Addidas sneakers and listening to Cosmic Girl and Virtual Insanity. Jay Kay was cool and knew how to move.

So if you like me can’t wait to go to Paléo festival, don’t forget to get your tickets this Wednesday, 5 April 2017, from 12 o’clock at official points of sale.
