Happy Monday, everyone!
How was your weekend? Mine was super cold. We took these photos on Saturday morning and I can say that I felt frozen most of the time we were by the lake. And as Alex will tell me as soon as he reads this post- it was all my fault. I wanted to shoot this coat, I did not dress myself properly (but one wants to look cool on the photos, right?) and now I can’t complain that my ears, my forehead and my fingers are frozen.
This coat is unfortunately, not mine. One of my Czech friend got it from her aunt few years ago. It is a silver fox, super beautiful and so warm that even if I my feet and my head were going to fall off, the rest of my body was sweating. The white crochet top is a present from my parents. They claim that crochet made its comeback in the Czech Republic and as much as I could not believe it when I received it, I changed my mind once I created this outfit. I also received a hat and a miniskirt so they will make their debut soon, stay tuned. 🙂
This weekend we started planning Chloe-Sofia‘s first birthday party. Most likely, we will have her cake done at Cartier, our favorite tea room were they make amazing cakes. As for the theme, I want something simple- like white and pink color with butterflies and ladybugs…. alright, it does not sound very simple but at least it is not like trying to emulate some Disney characters. I don’t want “Frozen” or any princess-themed party. We still have not decided where the celebration will take place but the goal is to make it at the same time as her baptism. I know that we have five months to plan that but with our work schedules and planned travel to central America in March, we don’t have so much time.
