Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Are you still on holidays? I am back at work as of today but it should a be quiet week in the office as new year tends to start slow.

This white top and black skirt are two of my favorite pieces from Pascale Cornu‘s new collection. I like the raglan sleeve, softness and texture of the t-shirt. It is so easy to wear, minimalist and elegant. It can take you from day to night / from office to romantic dinner with your better half. When it comes to the skirt, I like the geometrical lining and A-line pattern. It suits just about anyone and it is universally flattering.

Both pieces are classic and fit my work wardrobe perfectly. One of the things that I want to change this year is the way I dress for the office. I live in black pants and cashmere knits and as much as it is elegant, feminine and office appropriate, it is also comfortable and boring. I am not very adventurous when it comes to style and color so let’s see if I can change that in 2017!

And what are your New Year’s resolutions? Do you make any? Everywhere I look everyone is discussing it. I enjoy reading what they want to improve or give up in 2017 but it does not impact my own decision of not making any New Year’s resolutions at all. As complicated as it may sound, I just don’t like making promises that I can’t fulfill. I’d rather set goals that are realistic. Maybe it has something to do with your age or knowing yourself well enough. And I know that if I take a New Year’s resolution not to eat any desserts, I would be dreaming about mille feuilles all day long. 🙂

Pascale Cornu Coleen top and Loki skirt, Tommy Hilfiger boots (similar style now 40% off), Wolford tights, Chanel bag, Polaroid sunglasses, Bucherer bracelet and Tophop hat (love this alternative).
