When we decided to try brunch at a new restaurant in Geneva called Opus B, I had very high expectations. First, it does not come cheap- CHF48 per person (CHF21 for kids) including teas and coffees. Second, the owners used to run Gourmet Brothers which was our favorite spot for brunch. So you will understand that I expected the same level of quality and service. And I was not disappointed.
The coffee was great, which I am listing on top of my list because I LOVE coffee and I never go back to a coffee place that does not have a good coffee. The food was amazing and after seeing how much we ate and drank, I think the price is adequate to quality of products. They have an amazing cheese plate and if you have sweet tooth like me, you will love their desserts. Think quality over quantity and expect personal approach and customer service that is not usual in Swiss restaurants.
The only minus is the lack of changing tables for kids. It is a beautiful place and I am sure that many families go there. I am surprised that the owners did not think of such a small but essential detail.
By the way, I am wearing the skirt I was talking about the other day. I dressed it down with a simple grey t-shirt and my favorite sneakers. The handbag is borrowed from my friend. I usually do not wear handbags when we go out with Chloe-Sofia. I got so used to using her diaper bag that even a tiny handbag seems like a nuisance…even if it is Chanel.
Mango metallic skirt (love this alternative), Esprit t-shirt (similar), Brunello Cucinelli cashmere cardigan (beautiful alternative with ruffles), Wolford tights now 15% off, Vans sneakers, Daniel Wellington Classic Black watches and Morgan handbag (similar style, designer alternative).
