When Chloe-Sofia was 6 months old, we realized that it was time to get her Tripp Trapp chair so that she can learn to eat while sitting straight. Until now, we have been feeding her on a sofa, propped up by pillows because our Pediatrican did not think that it was a good idea to use the chair until she could sit by herself.
And as they have started feeding her in a chair at daycare, we decided to follow their lead. Several of our friends who have older kids recommended Stokke’s Tripp Trapp because of its quality and longevity. It is made of European beech wood and grows with the baby thanks to its adjustable seat and footplates. We really like the idea that we can use it until Chloe-Sofia is 36 months old. It is constructed in such an intelligent way that we can use it for our dinning table as well as for the round table that we have on the terrace.
It comes in several colors and with many accessories to make it original, comfortable and safe for the baby. To make the Tripp Trapp chair more special, we had it personalized at the back of the backrest with her name. It is super cute, don’t you think? In order to make it more comfortable and safe for a seven month old, we got original Tripp Trapp cushions in black and white and Baby Set in red. I really like the black and white accent.
We spend most of our time at the dinning table- I even use it as my work desk. Before we got the chair, Chloe-Sofia was either in her play pen or in her baby bouncer while we were eating. I like the idea that she can sit at the table with us, eat and play and participate fully in our daily/evening activities. And that is what we were trying to show when we took these photos- a chair that is practical and stylish, yet nothing short of being comfortable and safe for the baby.
