Happy Wednesday, everyone!

How is your week going so far? Today I am wearing my favorite boots of the moment- Conquest Wedge. I would describe them as a marriage between an experienced hiker and a fashion queen. I have already mentioned several times that I love Sorel boots because they are fashionable and functional. And not every brand manages to achieve such a tricky combination.

What is so special about these boots? As the name suggests, they have a wedge. And as you know, wedge is a nice compromise between comfortable flats and not so comfortable high heels. I like to wear them with a skirt or a knit dress to show them off. They are more appropriate for a city then Swiss mountains.

What do you think about the laces? I wanted to change them for something less obvious but than I decided to keep them. Sorel boots are made for outdoor activities and ultimately, it is the lace that gives them their “hiker” aura. In case you are like me and tend to forget to waterproof your boots, you will love Conquest Wedge even more. They are waterproof so you can put them on as soon as they arrive and set out to explore what is waiting for you outside… even if it is only your local park.Sorel boots Conquest wedgebrown Sorel boots Conquest wedge
