Anyone who is into fashion, and even those who are not, know that tweed is intrinsically linked to Chanel. Who would not love their classic tweed dresses? They are coveted by powerful women and celebrities all around the world. And even their handbags made of tweed look cool! I agree that as I Chanel lover, I am not impartial here but you can’t deny that tweed dresses are elegant, stylish and super versatile.

And how can you wear your tweed dress in fall? You can dress it up with black over-the-knee boots and Wolford stockings. You can dress it down with wedged sneakers and a hoodie. As long as your tweed dress is tailored and fitted, anything goes. That is the thing about tweed dresses- you’d better invest in a good one that will last you for years. You may even find a real Chanel tweed dress in your local consignment store or a resale store such as Vestiaire Collective.

In today’s post, I decided to feature a tweed dress from a well-known high-street store. Since I had a baby and have to prioritize what I spend my money on, Chanel tweed dress moved to my wishlist (along with a classic double flap Chanel handbag that I have been dreaming of for years). Anyhow, I chose this dress because it is affordable, well-cut and fitted. Now, just between you and me, the whole outfit would look more cool with sneakers. But I just got these black ankle beauties and could not resist working them into the picture. Aren’t they pretty?
