PAJAMA BOTTOMS AND SUNDAY BRUNCH? BEEN THERE, DONE THAT

CATEGORY: FASHION

Nightgowns, negligees, pajama bottoms and panties. Chiffon peignoir. Did you think that there was only one way to wear your sleepwear (which is on your way to bed)?

And why are we even talking about it? Because I am one of those people who get easily bored, hence my constant change of hairstyle. I like to subvert traditional ways of dressing, living and being. I will shake it, stir it and serve it with a twist. And while we are on it, let’s reflect on the idea of rose pink negligee, suede high boots and a soft leather jacket. It sounds like the perfect outfit for Sunday brunch, doesn’t it?

Anyways, to keep it short because it is mid-September, Tuesday and early in the morning, let’s agree at least on one thing. The ultimate advantage of wearing sleepwear to brunch is that you can transition from table to bed in no time.

When I decided to pair these pajama bottoms with an off-the-shoulder blouse, no one noticed that I was walking around in nightwear. Therefore, if you wonder how to wear your sleepwear as outerwear, don’t ponder the question.

Just do it.

And, most of all, don’t forget to wash your face and brush your hair before you leave the house.
