At 39 weeks, all I can wear are maternity t-shirts like this one. I still fit in one pair of maternity pants but my belly is so big that half of it always sticks out. It makes me feel like Homer Simpson.
We took this pictures last weekend and believe it or not, my belly grew even bigger since then. I still manage to walk for 30 minutes a day and do some basic exercises from pregnancy yoga. I really admire those celebrities and models who can actively exercise at the end of their pregnancy. I guess they are made of something else.
Now when the nursery is ready and we have everything, the “waiting game” starts. One of my girlfriends was warning me that as soon as I get to 39 weeks, people around me will get anxious. On one hand, it is nice that they care and keep asking for news, on the other hand, I still have some time and constant questioning becomes tiring. Right now I am only 3 days from my due date and I have a feeling that this baby is in no hurry to come. But let’s see. One thing is definitely sure- it is both exciting and scary as you don’t know when she will decide to come to this world and how it will go. All you can do is visualize that everything will be fine.
