Happy Easter Sunday, everyone!
How do you celebrate Easter? Do you travel abroad or stay at home? Do you spend the holiday with your family and relatives? This year, we decided to stay in Geneva until Easter Monday when we drive down to Lugano. We are going by car because I can not fly anymore. Lugano is a city in an Italian canton of Switzerland called Ticino. It is on the border with Italy and it has much warmer climate and different cuisine. I can’t wait. We are going to spend time with our friends, go for a dinner to a grotto ( a restaurant that serves local specialities). It will be our last “trip” before our little one arrives. Alex is going to watch Lugano vs. Geneva hockey match (it is the play off season). I don’t feel like sitting at a hockey stadium. Luckily, the hotel has a spa and a pool. While the boys will enjoy the game, I will rest.
I wore this casual, layered look for a walk around the lake yesterday afternoon. It was fun behaving like tourists in “our city”. Our favorite ice-cream place that sells Italian gelato was opened and I got two scoops of coconut and hazel nut ice-cream. Delicious! And it felt like spring had finally arrived.
I am wearing River Island wool cape, New Look maternity cardigan, Splendid t-shirt, JoJo Maman Bébé maternity pants (available here in charcoal), Topshop hat, Polaroid sunglasses, Konplott earrings, Chanel handbag and Vans sneakers.
