Happy Friday, everyone! Another week passed by so quickly, don’t you think?
Today I am sharing with you one of my last photos before I had my hair cut. I wore this black and white stripe dress with a straw hat that I got in Madrid last year. I got the stripe dress online- as most of my maternity clothes. You can wear the black top separately. It is one of those perfect maternity dresses. Why? It is light, roomy around the belly and hits just below the knee.
Next week is going to be my last week at work before I go on maternity leave. It is a bit bitter sweet feeling. One one hand, I look forward to be able to rest, feel less pain in my pelvis, lower back and have less water retention in my legs. On the other hand, I keep rereading my handover note to the person who takes over while I am away. I am nervous that I left something out and that I will not have enough time to finish everything. I wake up during the night thinking about work. All these feelings are supposed to be normal- at least that is what the pregnancy books say. It is still a bit unsettling and in combination with the third trimester insomnia, a bit exhausting.
One of the goals for my maternity leave is to start doing pregnancy yoga. I still exercise and do stretching by myself at home but practicing in a group can be more fun.
Wishing you all stress-free and relaxing weekend! And thank you for stopping by!
