MATERNITY SKIRT AND A FELT FLOPPY HAT

CATEGORY: FASHION

How to wear a maternity skirt? In fact, this one is not a real maternity skirt but as it is made of stretchy material, I can wear it even with the bump. I swear that it is the only item from my “pre-pregnant wardrobe” that I still fit in. By my third month, I had to give up on my regular jeans and skirts because I could not close them anymore. So you can understand, that I am glad that I can still wear this skirt. I got it some time ago from my friend Maya, the designer behind Blonde Monsters.

As this skirt is too short for work I  had to get several maternity dresses. I got most of them online in different colors and shapes and wear them with long cardigans and high boots (like here). I prefer wearing dresses to pants as they are more comfortable and (depending on your body type) more flattering. Not to mention that on those days when I feel big and like a whale, well-cut maternity dress can really make a difference.
