I am wearing Jewel Toned The Major Mini Dress, Zuvva jacket, leather gloves (given), Buffalo heels and Chanel handbag.

I was quite self-conscious when I was putting on this black mini dress. First, I have not worn a mini dress in months ( five, to be precise) and with six kilos up, I am much more critical about my body. I chose black color (optically slimming) and hoped for the best. And honestly, I could not be happier with the results- a built-in bra kept my chest firm and tight, the dress did not restrict any of my moves and in fact, I felt really comfortable. Which is something to say because so far, I always felt that I was going to suffocate when I put on a shaper!
I decided to wear it with my favorite jacket from a well-known Zimbabwean designer, Zuvva, maternity tights and super high heels that have been hidden in my closet for some time.
The other day, I wore this mini dress as an undergarment under one of my maternity dresses and it felt much more comfortable than wearing a bra. It simply helps to create the perfect shape. I couldn’t explain what it was, but something about this dress made me feel sexy and attractive. Right now I am deciding what to wear to our New Year’s Eve dinner party- this black mini dress or a dark blue lace dress that I got especially for this occasion? Decisions, decisions … I promise to let you know which one I choose.
