I must admit that in winter cashmere cardigans, sweaters, beanies and scarves are taking most place in my closet. I love cashmere for its softness and luxurious feeling, not to mention that it looks beautiful. Good quality cashmere is much more expensive than what you can find on the high-street but it will last you for years. That is why I prefer buying cashmere from reputable companies and I am willing to wait for sales to get a piece that is unique and will keep its form and softness. I used to have my cashmere collection dry-cleaned but it just costs a fortune. Than I learned that you can wash it in your washing machine on wool cycle. I use a cashmere laundry detergent (from Manor, Swiss department store) which keeps the fiber soft as new.
Do you wear cashmere? What is your favorite brand? And how do you take care of your cashmere clothes?

28.12.2015Wow, both pieces look oh so soft & lux. I’m super jealous. I just want to rest my head on your shoulder. (not to be weird). As well, stunning statement necklace.

22.12.2015Hello Miri!
I love cashmere, it looks so soft and luxe, and the colors are my favorite! I also wash my cashmere in the washer, saves time running to the dry cleaners 😉 Take care, and have a Merry Christmas!

22.12.2015Thank you, Amanda. I think that cashmere is best worn outside…it is such a noble and luxurious fabric that it is a shame to wear it only at home…I am sure you will keep yours clean even outside your house. 🙂
Merry Christmas to you, Ava and your whole family!
Hugs,
Miri
