Hello everyone!
It is been one week since we got married and if you ask me (as many people did): “How do you feel?” I will have to answer that I feel different.
I used to tell to my friends that marriage is just a way of formalizing a relationship and that it does not change anything. But honestly, it does. I can’t put my finger on it but I do feel as a whole person. Not that I would feel that I missed something before- I do not believe that woman has to be married to have a proper place in society or to have children to fulfill her role as a mother. Some women are born to be mothers and wives. Some are not. Each and every woman is different and have different expectations and goals in life.
After saying all that, one can understand why I am surprised that I feel “whole”. I feel complete when I am by myself, but also when I am with the other person. I am happy, content and in peace. And that is more than I can ask for.
I decided to share with you our wedding photos so that you have an idea how beautiful the day was. We were so lucky with the weather and our photographer. I am so used to Alex taking photos that I did not expect someone else would capture our emotions so well. And he did. I am very happy that we have photos that we can keep coming back to…
