Can you believe that we are already in mid-March? It seems to me that the older I get, the faster the time runs. It is either Monday or Friday. Beginning or the end….I feel that once you are in your thirties, you start seeing life differently. You are more aware that, as my dear friend likes to say, we are here only for a season. And you start thinking of giving your life a meaning. In my case, the biggest change came, when I started appreciating what I had. Once you put your life into perspective, you must admit that you are doing great or even just OK, but you still are. And everyday you make choices that create your future.
Lately, I changed my view on meditation and what it really means. I don’t think that in order to “meditate”, you have to sit down in a quiet place and hum “Om”. That is very easy. The real meditation practice happens in real life- when you are at work, with your family, your lover or just at work. How do you react when everything around you crumbles? Do you remember to stop for a second to take a conscious breath?
Today, I would like to share with you one of my favorite quotes from Eckhart Tolle:
“Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness. How do you know this is the experience you need? Because this is the experience you are having at the moment.”

Happy weekend, everyone!
