ARGYLL PONCHO AND FALLING LEAVES

Fall is in a full swing in Switzerland. I love how colors of leaves change- boring green turns into mustard yellow and deep red. It feels as if nature caught its second breath. It is dark when I leave the house and soon it will be dark when I come back. I can feel in my (young) bones that the winter is coming. And with it snow, skiing, fondue and hot chocolate. I can’t wait!

I found this argyll poncho in Zara the other day. It is so warm that I can wear it as an overcoat. Its vibrant colors and deep pockets are simply perfect. I am sure you have noticed that ponchos and capes are big this fall- you can find them practically everywhere. It is a trend that keeps coming back- even my mom remembers wearing one when she was expecting me.

My dream piece would be made of cashmere and with a hood lined with faux fur. I have a perfect picture in my mind…now I just have to find it 🙂
