Bomber jacket… I have never imagined that I would style it. For me, it was an enfant terrible of fashion. First, I never found it very feminine and secondly, it reminded me of skinheads, Dr. Martens, the police and the underground.
Was I wrong? Maybe…
Not so long ago I came across a bomber jacket that opened my mind. It is not a designer piece- I found it in H&M. It is made of shiny satin, sits well on my shoulders and has the right amount of bulkiness. I took it home with an idea to create an outfit that would be feminine and sexy without being vulgar. I put it together with high-waisted skinny jeans, heels and striped faux fur scarf. I know, I know, I have been using a lot of fake fur lately but I just love it. It has this inexplicable ability to uplift even the most boring outfit.
Are you guys going to wear faux fur this winter?
