Do you also feel like the time is speeding up? It is the “August rush”! People are coming back from holiday and getting ready to go back to work and kids return to school. In French, we call this period “rentrée”. I believe that the word itself also means ” returning home (to ourselves)”. It is the time when we reflect on what we want, what needs to be changed and what we should be left behind.
Being in this mood, I decided to do a “rentrée” on my own. I went back to the book that I have not finished Women Who Run With the Wolves, to my healthy diet( in order to clean my body), promised to do yoga at least twice a week and last but not least I decided to be “conscious” and “present”.
How do you deal with this period of “rentrée”? Feel free to share your thoughts.
To finish on a positive note, I will share with you one of my favorite quotes from Eckhart Tolle:
“Don’t Seek Happiness. If you seek it, you won’t find it, because seeking is the antithesis of happiness.”
