What is your opinion on a trench coat? I believe that it is a wardrobe essential. It is a piece that can elevate a simple outfit. It gives a tailored finish to distressed blue jeans that I like to wear with a white t-shirt. And it protects me against wind and rain in summer time. It is a very reliable companion.
I always dreamed of a trench coat that does not get easily wrinkled. I am sure you know that story: you put on a perfectly ironed coat and as soon as you walk out of the house, sit down in a car or just tie it with a belt, it looks rumpled.
In order to solve this issue once and for all, I decided to get a trench coat made of a microfiber with a wrinkled effect….As they say: If you can’t beat them, join them! I really like the creased touch!
For this “winter look”, I paired it with a pair of white pants from one of my favorite Swiss designer Pascale Cornu, black jersey turtleneck and large sunglasses.
Trench coat: Peter Hahn (similar; budget); Turtleneck: H&M (similar); Pants: Pascale Cornu; Heels: Aldo (similar); Pearl necklace: Pur (previously seen here); Sunglasses: Prada; Bag: Chanel.
