How do you feel about natural hair, naturalistas or so called modern ‘fro?
The other day, I had an amazing talk with three beautiful women Juliane (@mymaracuja), Marietou (@MICI) and Melissa (@melissazibi) about color, ethnicity and what it means to be black, mixed or white. As I mentioned before, one of the things that I consider the most visible, besides our skin color, is the hair. I really admire women who wear their hair in a natural way- without chemical straightening or a weave. I straighten my hair with Brazilian keratin and mix them with clip-in extensions to add length or volume. So as you can see, I am classic example of someone who admires somebody but does not have enough courage (or self-acceptance). And it is funny as I am always telling people that they are beautiful the way they are. Here you go! I think I should talk about this more broadly in one of my next articles.
