When I was preparing previous gift guides (Gift Guide for Him and Gift Guide for Her), I realized that a clean beauty Valentine’s Day gift guide would be an excellent alternative for those who are not interested in buying gifts may it be clothes or traditional beauty products.
All habits die hard – in other words when I finished the two above-mentioned Valentin’s Day Gift Guides, I remembered that this year I wanted to shop less and focus on giving the experience (theatre tickets, weekend getaway, romantic dinner, etc.). On the flip side, I really watch carefully how much plastic we bring home when we do groceries. And most of the time we are low on almonds, dry fruits, and oats (always packed in plastic). The best alternative is to buy food in bulk stores but that’s not possible every weekend. Sometimes we travel, someone gets sick and we have to go to the closest grocery store to our house.
