Distressed jeans/embroidered denim jacket/currently wearing

Version française ci-dessous

Have you noticed how popular embroidered denim jackets are right now? Besides fishnets, embroidered denim is the way to go if you want to look fashionable. And as embroidered denim jackets often come with a hefty price tag, I decided to make my own for less than $20. All you need is an old denim jacket, iron-on patches, iron, thin blanket, thread and needle. And it will take you less than an hour.

OUTFIT:

R&ZR embroidered denim jacket (here, 48 EUR or here, 40 EUR)

H&M raw hem jeans (alternative, 50 EUR)

Miss Selfridge blouse, 40 EUR

Gucci lace-up sneakers (alternative, 44 EUR)

88 Rue du Rhone watch

SHOP THE POST:

Hi beautiful Miri! I love this cool idea to personalise a denim jacket. You always have such great DIY projects to share. It’s really a genius plan to make your own one of a kind special piece. It looks very Gucci inspired, especially paired with the beautiful Ace sneakers (which are such a wardrobe staple for me too). I hope you’re well!

Always loved embroidery and patches and they both look so good on denim. Love how your jacket turned out, the red lip patch is super cute! Tried doing the same thing with a denim skirt, but I couldn’t find such cute patches, hehe. Wishing you a great week ahead! xx
