Happy Thursday, everyone.
How is your week going so far? Ours was quite busy. It is the second week that we are back in Geneva, it is raining and the difference in temperature is palpable. Alex got sick over the weekend and Chloe-Sofia followed. Last night my mother-in-law came back from Costa Rica and today she is going to pick up Chloe-Sofia from daycare. It is really kind of her considering her age and jet lag. Thanks to her I can stay in Geneva and attend a private event (I will share more details soon) after work. I am really looking forward to meeting new people and talking about something else than diapers and baby formula. At first I wanted to wear this floral print summer dress but it is too cold for that.
This beautiful summer dress can be worn as a maxi kimono or a beach cover-up. It is a bit revealing so I recommend wearing something underneath. Unless you are on the beach of course. I really like the idea of wearing it as a kimono. It would look amazing with a black spaghetti strap bodysuit and skinny jeans. What a versatile summer dress, right?
I admit that with the arrival of spring, I crave prints. The sight of a blooming wisteria or pink peonies makes me happy. With all these blooms and new energy that is pouring in, I feel the need to refresh my closet.
What else is on my list besides this summer dress? I am eyeing these blush pink faux-fur sandals and these super cool sneakers. I was thinking about having some highlights done but I have no time to go to my hairdresser. I am going to Mexico for work in three weeks so maybe when I come back. As you can imagine, work is a bit crazy right now.
And what is on your summer wish list?
Missguided dress (€47), love this one with star print (now on sale for $56.00); Happiness Boutique choker ($18), (similar style for $35.00), Cerjo sunglasses (c/o), similar style (below $20.00), Calzedonia fishnet stockings (similar style under $20.00) and Topshop heels, love these leather pumps from Mango (now -30% on US site and -33% on their UK site and French site).
