Happy Wednesday, everyone!

How is your week going so fast? Today was our first day on the beach. We went to Playa Blanca which is part of Punta Leona resort. We took million photos of Chloe-Sofia playing  on the beach ( which on most  occasions meant eating sand and drinking sea water). It is really nice to see her reactions.

I always forget how salty the sea is. As Switzerland and the Czech Republic are both land-locked countries, we go to the sea only once a year. While some of my friends enjoy laying on the beach all day, I get bored after one hour or get a headache from the heat. Alex is complete opposite so going to Costa Rica for our belated honeymoon is a bit of a compromise. We spend one week on the beach, one week in the mountains and last week in the capital with Alex’s family. Good thing is that Chloe-Sofia enjoys the holidays. So far she was not sick and her cough significantly improved. As soon as I get more time to go through the photos that we took on the beach, I will share them with you.

Besides my trail shoes, I brought to Costa Rica several pairs of flip flops for the beach. These ones with sparkly straps and thick footbed are from Ipanema’s new summer collection . They are very comfortable and don’t cut between your fingers unlike other flip flops that I tried. I finished the look with a small, handwoven clutch from Guatemala and wooden sunglasses.
