Staying Mobile With My BABYZEN YOYO+ Stroller

If there was one thing that I was worried about when I decided to travel by myself with an infant to Prague, it was the flight. I was pretty nervous how Chloe-Sofia would react to the noise on the plane and closed environment. All my friends who have kids warned me not to take my regular stroller. They said, and I later found out that they were right, that no one will help me at security checks and that I will have to fold the stroller by myself I started looking for a small, compact stroller that would be easy to fold and manipulate even with one hand.

When I was in Paris in November, I met BABYZEN and fell in love with their YOYO+ stroller. As soon as they showed me how small it is when you fold it and how simple it is to do that, I knew that I had to take it with me to Prague. And I think that it was the best decision I could have made.

– First, even if YOYO+ is very light (max 6,6 kg) it is very strong and sturdy. It can carry up to 18kg of weight.
– Second, you can drive and fold it with one hand, while you are holding your baby in the other one.
– And last, but not least, its biggest advantage is that you can take it on plane as a hand luggage. And I am mean on board. Say goodbye to checking in your stroller once you are boarding the plane or worrying in what state your stroller comes back when you check it in as a luggage.

In Switzerland air hostesses knew the stroller and did not pose any questions. But when we were checking in our luggage in Prague, the airport personnel ended up arguing between themselves. They did not know that it can be taken on board as a hand luggage. As it turned out, they did not read the memo. And I mean literally. Luckily, one of them did read his emails, knew about YOYO+ and let us go. Luckily, next time when we go to the Czech Republic, we should not have this problem. BABYZEN will be in the Czech Republic as of 2017.

My mom was worried that BABYZEN YOYO+ was too small and light. She thought we would have to borrow my sister’s big stroller but there was no need for that. Chloe-Sofia slept in her YOYO+ when we were walking around the city or visiting our friends because you can incline the backrest to 145° in several positions. And the canopy offers enough shade for a baby to fall asleep. We also got the foot cover, which is the best thing ever for winter. I like that you can take off the fabric and wash it in washing machine which comes super handy. I already washed it twice- since Chloe-Sofia started eating baby biscuits, the foot muff and harness are constantly dirty.

BABYZEN YOYO+ is a perfect stroller when you move around a lot. I take train with Chloe-Sofia very often and it is very easy to get in even if you have to lift it up. The same applies to buses and trams where space is limited. You always fit in. You can use it from birth if you get totally flat carry-cot and car seat adapters. As you can see, it is a stroller that you can use anytime and anywhere. And that is why we are taking it with us when we go to Costa Rica. Did I mention that it comes with rain cover and mosquito net?

BABYZEN is available in Au Berceau D’Or Genève, Caspar Concept Store Zurich and soon in Gstaad. Find more details and international retailers right here.
