This week I started my sixth month. I can’t believe how fast the time goes. It flies, indeed! I am happy that my bump is much more noticeable now. And as you noticed, my posts have become less frequent. I admit that working full time and being pregnant does not leave a lot of free time and energy. I will try to post at least twice a week but if I can’t, please, bear with me.
It is interesting how the behavior of people around you changes as well. They want to touch the bump, talk about the pregnancy, my cravings, about the name that we chose and if they have kids themselves they always advise that I sleep as much as I can. Everyone has different idea on what items we should buy and most of the time it is confusing. Some like to use pacifiers, others don’t. Some take bath with their child, others prefer using a baby bathtub. At one point you stop asking around and just listen to your common sense (not to mention that I found great newborn checklist online). I found out that as far as it concerns clothing, we have enough for the first three months. We still need to get a crib and a stroller the other big items like a changing table, bouncy seat and a car seat were given to us by our friends.
So three more months to go and I will officially become a mother.
