Can one wear a military beret elegantly? I think so. Especially if it is made out of up-cycled cashmere jumpers like this one from Tallis. For this look, I wore it with an alpaca poncho, skinny jeans from H&M maternity line and my favorite black pumps. It is a very simple and versatile look that you can wear over the weekends and even during the week if your work dress code permits.
I found this poncho in Manor (Swiss department store) the other day. I was looking for a poncho and chose this one when I found out that it was made by local artisans in Peru and 100% of the proceeds go back to their community. It is nice that a department store carries an ethical fashion, don’t you think?
