Phone Booth

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend. We found this old, beaten down phone booth in the middle of Eaux-Vives district. I love it so much that we will definitely use it again for future shoots.

In fact, I was looking for a background that would tone down the dress. I even chose the feather earrings, Collier de Chien bracelet and flip flops for the same reason. I wanted to create an elegant yet not overly polished look. If I wore heels and pretty gold earrings, the whole look would be too perfect and boring. When I am creating a new look, I keep in mind an idea of originality, elegance and that ” Je ne sais quoi.”

I was quite lucky when I found this little black dress in Sandro during sales. I like this brand but it is just too expensive for a high-street brand. So I always visit the store when they have sales. The dress did not look very special at first but I felt that with the right accessories, I can make it work. The boxy black handbag is a new arrival in my friend´s boutique so I had to style it before it is gone.  I hope you like the final outcome. 🙂

Have a great start of the week and, as always, thank you for all your kind comments.
